Singletrack Flyers (STF) provides a limited number of registration fee scholarships, trail pass scholarships and equipment loans to eligible youth and coaches. These scholarships and loans provide assistance to youth who would otherwise not be able to participate in the STF program.

Applicants may request the following forms of assistance:
- Registration Fee Scholarship: The registration fee scholarship covers the full cost of Singletrack Flyers for the 2026 season.
- Helmet Scholarships. A properly fitting helmet is an essential mountain biking component. STF provides helmet fit checks for all participants and has helmet scholarships available to riders in need of a helmet.
- Equipment Loan: STF has a limited fleet of mountain bikes available to use on Monday evenings during STF rides for participants that do not own equipment suitable for trail riding.
- Trail Pass Scholarships: Riders, including coaches, over the age 13 are required to have a trails pass to use the Michigan Tech trail system. This program waives trail pass fees for Monday night STF rides.
